REGGIE DE LEON (Producing Artistic Director/Founding Member) –
Reggie has enjoyed wearing a variety of hats in the theatre, from
performer, to musical director, playwright, stage manager, and now,
producer. As an actor, some select favorite roles include Sancho
in MAN OF LA MANCHA at Glendale Centre Theatre and Arroyo Repertory
Theatre, LeFou in the west coast regional premiere of DISNEY’S
BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Sakini in TEAHOUSE OF THE AUGUST MOON, and

|
of course, Snoopy in YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN for the
Diversity Players. Reggie also created the role of Sleepy in
Disneyland’s SNOW WHITE: AN ENCHANTING MUSICAL, and Tito Makani in
Nickelodeon’s national tour of MAXIMUM ROCKET POWER LIVE! Reggie
is a magna cum laude graduate of USC with a BA in Public Relations,
and of Cal State LA with an MA in Theatre Arts. He currently
teaches Drama to kids in the LA area to help shape the theatre
artists and audiences of the future. It’s always been a dream
of Reggie’s to create theatre that showcases the immense talent
of the diverse and multi-ethnic community of Los Angeles, and he’s
very excited to see his dream finally come to fruition. For a

MARY JOY DEOCARIZA (Producer/Founding Member) –
M.J. is a triple-threat actress currently residing in the heart of LA. She
graduated with a BA in Music from UC Irvine where she studied with
world-renowned opera singer and teacher, Nina Hinson. In LA she studied
vocally with Derek Graydon, teacher to the legendary Kathryn Grayson.
Through an intensive program at New York's CAP 21 studio, M.J. studied
ballet, jazz, styles and Fosse with Broadway veterans Michael Kubala, Mitzi
Hamilton, Patty Wilcox, John Dietrich, and

CLOCKWORK ORANGE, Tuptim in THE KING & I, Liat in SOUTH PACIFIC, Aysha in
CHILDREN OF EDEN, THE
WORLD GOES 'ROUND, AMAHL AND THE NIGHT VISITORS,
HANSEL AND GRETEL, CARMEN, and the world-premiere production of THE WOMAN
WHO FORGOT HER SWEATER. Films include SWEET AND SOUR and SONATA FOR DANI. She is also a member of the
All-Asian-American improv troupe, ROOM TO IMPROV.

CARLA JIMENEZ
(Founding Member) – A native of California. Previous work has included: THE LEGEND OF ALEX
(premiere with Mark Taper Forum), THE HOUSE OF BERNARDA ALBA (with Chita Rivera at the Mark Taper Forum),
BLACK BUTTERFLY, JAGUAR GIRL, PIÑATA WOMAN, AND OTHER SUPERHERO GIRLS, LIKE ME (Mark Taper Forum), LA POSADA
MAGICA (South Coast Rep.), the national tour of THE MIKADO, and the regional tour of JOEY & MARIA'S COMEDY
ITALIAN WEDDING to name a few. She has also appeared in various

| commercials, and had a recurring role on
STRONG MEDICINE. Carla was nominated in 02’ for the RICHARD E. SHERWOOD award (for excellence in emerging talent). |

| JAMIE SKYE LEE
(Producer/Founding Member) - Originally from the Washington D.C. area, Jamie relocated to the City of
Angels to pursue her passion for entertainment. She is a student of the Meisner technique and is currently
studying at David Kagen's Film Acting School. She has also studied dance at the Millennium Dance Complex and
studies voice with Maria Weber, a veteran of musical theatre. Most recently Jamie was seen in Arroyo
Repertory Theatre's production of MAN OF LA MANCHA. Other recent theatre credits include: OEDIPUS,

| CORILANUS AND PERICLES at the Knightsbridge Theatre in Pasadena. Jamie was also recently seen in a
national HYUNDAI car commercial. She is excited to be a part of a theatre that showcases the diverse, multi-ethnic talent that is in the L.A. area.

| JAN PETERS
(Set Designer) - Jan is making her debut with the Diversity Players and is thrilled to be working with this great company. She has worked for the past 15 years for her husband John's theater company, Kids A.C.T., serving as scenic designer for productions of ANNIE, MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS, SCROOGE, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, CINDERELLA and GUYS AND DOLLS. Other work includes productions of STEPPING OUT and SOMETHING'S AFOOT at the Grinstead Theater. THERESE PETERS
(Stage Manager) - Therese is honored to be a part of this wonderful group of people - thanks Reggie!!!! Theater has always been a
huge part of Therese's life, while either performing or running a light board, she finds her home in any theater space.
For the past 15 years, her family has run their own company, Kids A.C.T.(Astounding Children's Theater)
where Therese just finished directing GUYS AND DOLLS. She has assisted on such productions as THE SOUND
OF MUSIC, MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS, TWELFTH NIGHT and MUCH ADO
